I daily my base Cayman and have found it to be very reasonable- Replaced the OEM Goodyear's with Bridgestone potenza's for about $150/tire from tire rack. Mobile 1 Euro spec from Wal-**** for $50 Mehle filter, crush washer and drain bolt for $25 I also upgraded the PCM 3.1 to Apple carplay with a backup camera for $180.

Idk why people buy dealer bramd shit. They dont actually make anything besides acual parts for their cars. The sealer is just rebrand permatex.

Seems as long as you don't have any unexpected parts that need replacing things are fairly reasonable. I started looking at other parts and what really steered me away was the front valance for the 911 I was looking at was $3500, if you get a discount,l on just the part. Installation was another grand or two.

Performance tires are expensive for any type of car, Porsche GT3 or na.

For an exotic, all of that seems extremely reasonable. And if you know even the basics, most work can be done at home in your garage.

The new wheels look okay...Not crappy in any way. .. I'm the wrong 911 owner to ask. .. My 1998 Carrera C2S (993) continues to wear its original Cup II 17 - inch alloys, as on delivery day. .. Pure OEM stock.

They are extremely reliable, hold lowest year end depreciation rate along with 911 and they are great daily and weekend drivers. I think the base manual car is more reliable that’s the one I own ;)

My Macan S had a coolant line crack recently. $800 to repair. I hope this isnt a new pattern w/ P cars. None of the older ones I have seem to have this issue.

You have to get whats called a positive displacement supercharger not this. That supercharger makes power at very low revs and the mid range and top is night and day difference to these superchargers

Curious, was it an actual leak or was it (was I suspect) residual mess from the oil filter removal and oil changes???

Any issues long term? Increase temps?
